What is CI?
Competitive Intelligence is a systematic program for gathering and analyzing information about your competitors' activities and general business trends to further your own company's goals. Competitive Information does not become Competitive Intelligence until it is analyzed, presented, and disseminated in a manner that allows it to be used in strategic decision making and to further the goals of marketing and sales.
What is CCI™?
Continuous Competitive Intelligence
(CCI)™ is EndGame Advantage's proprietary process for providing an ongoing flow of timely Talking Point Alerts and CI tools to those that need them.
CCI is a comprehensive intelligence gathering and dissemination
process, that tracks competitive activity in your target markets on a real time basis. Going beyond what you might read in tomorrow's paper, EndGame provides research into why your competition is succeeding or failing by pooling valuable information through a unique and creative research mechanism.
CCI adds true value into gaining both market share and mind share over your competition.
How are you different from market analyst firms like IDC and DataQuest ?
Although there may be some overlap, EndGame does not directly compete with market analyst firms like IDC, DataQuest and Frost & Sullivan. These groups concentrate their efforts on defining the financial size of a market and determining market share. EndGame Advantage does not evaluate the overall current or future market size. EndGame CI professionals use analyst reports when appropriate as another source of secondary research. Any proprietary information used from these reports is verified and documented.
Does EndGame Advantage use "espionage" to get information about the
competition?
EndGame does not use "espionage" in any part of its CI process. Espionage is the use of illegal means to gather information. EndGame's unique
CCI process allows it to collect and disseminate relevant and valuable information in a completely legal
manner.
How can you keep up with what our company is doing internally?
Through the CCI process, EndGame works closely with key contacts in your company to make sure relevant data is being provided to those that need it and that EndGame contacts are kept up to date regarding your product line and technology. This essential information allows EndGame CI professionals to pinpoint competitive advantages, aggressive competitive actions and potential competitors or relevant emerging technology. The
CCI process includes a client approval process cycle so that information that is distributed to company contacts is always the most current and accurate
available.
Will EndGame Advantage become the sole source of competitive information for our
company?
EndGame does not become a monopoly on competitive information for your company. It is not possible to completely monitor every piece of information in the market. Through EndGame's unique
CCI process, employees, customers, and even "lost leads" are used to leverage information about the competition so that information can be continually gathered and disseminated in a consistent manner.
Where does the name EndGame Advantage come from?
EndGame Advantage derived its name from the game of chess. The third and final part of chess is called the Endgame. In the game of chess, it is not the player who acts quickly or even decisively that wins the game, it is the player who has positioned himself/herself best for the endgame. The player who has acted with calculated moves and an overall strategy is in the best position to checkmate his/her opponent and win the game. The advantage EndGame provides is the in-depth analysis of the competition and a proven methodology for making this information work in your favor.
